Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
• You may only maintain one account per role (developer or business) unless we authorize otherwise.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. How the Service works

mtmr is an evidence-based matching platform. Developers build profiles and can connect GitHub repositories; we analyze public repository contents to extract skill evidence (languages, frameworks, code quality metrics). Businesses post jobs and review ranked applicants. We are a neutral marketplace: we do not employ developers, vet businesses, or participate in hiring decisions.

4. GitHub analysis & consent

When you connect GitHub, you authorize us to read the public repositories you select and to run automated analysis using static tooling and large language models. You represent that you have the right to submit those repositories for analysis. We store derived skill data and quality scores; we do not retain full source code after analysis completes.

5. User content

"User Content" means anything you submit to the Service — profile text, resumes, job listings, messages, and any other material. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process it solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that it does not infringe any third-party rights, contain unlawful material, or violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent content (including fake job listings or fabricated experience).
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Service without our written consent.
• Reverse engineer, attack, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your relationship with any person or entity.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm another user.
• Submit repositories or content that you do not have the right to share.
• Use the Service in violation of applicable law, including employment, anti-discrimination, and export laws.

7. Fees

Basic use of the Service is currently free. We may introduce paid features; if we do, we will describe the pricing clearly before you incur any charge. Paid features are governed by the additional terms presented at purchase.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by CrushingDigital and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service, no rights are granted to you. "More Than My Resume," "mtmr," and related logos are trademarks of CrushingDigital.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (GitHub, LinkedIn, Supabase, Modal, OpenAI, SendGrid, Vercel). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that skill analysis will be accurate or complete.

We do not guarantee that any developer will receive a job offer or that any employer will find a suitable applicant. Hiring decisions are solely between developers and businesses.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrushingDigital and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrushingDigital from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CrushingDigital is registered, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
